Itinerary

This climbing experience is aimed at climbers with an intermediate level of experience and has as its main objective to improve your technique and skills in sight and trial climbing. Always accompanied by experienced athletes and mountain guides, you will acquire advanced knowledge, improve your decision making on the wall, strengthen your safety and gain confidence in challenging environments. You will also work on route planning and climbing strategies, enabling you to tackle more ambitious projects successfully. In short, this programme offers you the opportunity to raise your skill level and confidence, regardless of whether you're climbing on sight or previously rehearsed routes.

This is the classic climbing experience on Montserrat, suitable for all levels. The conventional route that follows the route through Cavall Bernat, Montserrat's most emblematic summit, is a must for you if you are interested in long-distance climbing routes. The Cavall Bernat is undoubtedly the most recognisable rock formation on Montserrat due to its distinctive silhouette. It offers a variety of climbing routes of different levels of difficulty. The most outstanding route is the one that leads to the summit via its normal climbing route, which is accessible in terms of difficulty and has solid security. The normal route consists of four sections; the first, which also serves as an approach, provides a meeting point. The second section is the most challenging section of the route, a short and fairly polished, but well belayed flank. The final two sections offer a pleasant experience, and the reward is at the summit, where you can enjoy views and possibly catch sight of the Moreneta.

Itinerary

In this experience you can combine vertical, steep and even overhanging climbing sections as you follow a vertical line along the Cavall Bernat monolith: a route that follows the northeast ridge of the Cavall Bernat. The first sections of the via Punsola are relatively easy, but it gradually becomes more vertical and takes on a challenging atmosphere. Once you reach the top, you can have your photo taken with the statue of the Moreneta and magnificent views of the Natural Park. Straight to instagram! This route has a difficulty rating of V/Ao or 6c (MD-) and a compulsory difficulty of V/Ao. The length extends over 240 metres, with a low exposure and an equally low commitment. In addition, the route is fully equipped with anchors for safety and faces north-east. In short, we could describe it as an exceptional route that impresses all who try it. Are you up for it?
