The rafting experience in Llavorsí – Rialp
You arrive at the RocRoi Adventure Center in Llavorsí — ground zero for rafting on the Noguera Pallaresa — and you immediately sense this is about more than just running a river. The team welcomes you, hands out the technical gear (wetsuit, windbreaker, neoprene shoes, buoyancy aid and helmet) and drives you to the put-in point in Llavorsí, in the heart of the Pallars Sobirà.
There, the licensed guides run the briefing: how to paddle, where to sit in the raft, what to expect from each rapid and how to react in every situation. You hit the water with confidence — even if it's your first time.
The descent starts progressively. The first rapids let the group coordinate and read the river; then the Noguera Pallaresa opens up into livelier whitewater sections with waves, rollers and bends you'll celebrate stroke by stroke. In between, calm stretches give you time to look up: rock walls, riverside forest, the Lleida Pyrenees lining the entire route and the distant silhouette of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park.
The grand finale comes just before Rialp, where you string together the most fun section of the run and close out the classic descent. When you step out of the raft you'll be wet, smiling and ready to tell the story. Return transport to the centre is included so you only need to worry about one thing: swapping the best anecdotes from the river.
Depending on the season, the water level changes the river's character: May and June deliver the biggest thrills thanks to Pyrenean snowmelt; in summer the Noguera Pallaresa mellows out and becomes the top choice for families and larger groups.
What the experience feels like
Families: team adventure — fun and safe. We adjust the stretch and water level to the age and the day. Minimum age 6 in summer (12 in spring due to snowmelt flows).

FAQs
When is the best time for rafting in Llavorsí?
If you're after more thrills, spring (May and June) brings higher water from the Pyrenean snowmelt and the rapids are livelier. In summer (July and August) the river mellows and is the top choice for families and groups. The season runs from late March to early October, depending on water levels.
How long does the Llavorsí – Rialp rafting last?
The full activity takes about 2 h 30 from arrival at the RocRoi Adventure Center to the return. The descent itself (on the water) lasts between 1 h 15 and 1 h 45 depending on water level and group. Set aside the morning or the afternoon — no more.
Do I need previous rafting experience?
No. Before you set off, the guide covers technique, positions in the raft, paddle commands and safety protocols. You bring the enthusiasm and the team takes care of the rest throughout the descent.
Is rafting in Llavorsí suitable for children?
Yes, in summer. The minimum age is 12 in spring and 6 in summer (the difference depends on snowmelt flows). Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult and must be able to swim. It's one of the most recommended family activities in the Pallars Sobirà.
Do I have to be able to swim?
Yes — it's an essential safety requirement, even though you'll be wearing a buoyancy aid and accompanied by a licensed guide.
What do I need to bring for the rafting?
Swimsuit or bikini, towel, suncream and — especially useful in spring — a rash vest or thermal top. If you wear glasses, bring a strap. All technical gear (wetsuit, neoprene shoes, buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle) is provided by RocRoi.
Is rafting cancelled if it rains?
Usually not — you're going to get wet anyway. The activity is only modified or cancelled if water levels or weather conditions affect safety. In that case, we offer a change of date or an ADVENTURE voucher.
What's the difference between the Llavorsí – Rialp stretch and the other Pallars descents?
Llavorsí – Rialp is the classic stretch — the most complete and popular descent on the Noguera Pallaresa, with a total duration of 2 h 30. We also offer shorter runs for beginners (Llavorsí – Moleta), longer runs for those wanting more (Collegats, full day) and combos with canyoning, kayaking or a meal included.
Note: the activity and operational details may be adjusted depending on water levels and weather conditions. The RocRoi Booking team will contact the client in advance if the schedule needs adapting.

Hot Air Balloon Ride Barcelona: fly over Montserrat at sunrise

Some landscapes can only be seen from the sky. At sunrise, the balloon lifts off in silence and Montserrat appears before you as you have never imagined it: imposing, close, unreal.

📍 Meeting point: Igualada-Òdena Airfield, 08711 Òdena, Barcelona, Spain – View on map (exact point confirmed 24 h before the flight)
The hot air balloon experience over Montserrat
The experience begins before take-off. At sunrise, the crew lays out the balloon while the Catalan sky starts to brighten. The pre-flight briefing, the inflation of the balloon and climbing into the basket are all part of the experience: watching it grow, feeling the heat of the burner and knowing that in a few minutes you will be airborne.
Once in the air, the balloon drifts gently over the valleys of l'Anoia. The silhouette of Montserrat appears on the horizon: the rocky formations, the needle peaks, the Monastery visible among the stone. From 500 to 1,500 metres altitude, the Mediterranean, the vineyards of the Penedès and the fields of Central Catalonia unfold in a silence that takes you by surprise. No engine, no vibrations: just the wind and the pilot's voice.
The landing, always controlled, adapts to the air currents of the day. No two flights follow the same route: the wind decides, the pilot steers, you enjoy. After touching down, the crew opens the Catalan cava. The toast, the picnic breakfast and the presentation of the flight diploma signed by the pilot close an experience you will remember for years.
What the experience feels like
Couples: floating over Montserrat at sunrise, a cava toast and a diploma with your names — there are few more memorable ways to celebrate something together.
Groups of friends or families: the adrenaline of lift-off, the views no one expects and the final toast will turn this flight into the story you keep telling.

FAQs
How far from Barcelona is the take-off point?
The balloon takes off at sunrise from Igualada-Òdena Airfield, in the Anoia region, approximately 50 minutes from Barcelona via the AP-2 motorway. The exact point is confirmed 24 hours before the flight based on weather conditions.
Can we choose the flight route?
No. Hot air balloons travel with the air currents: the pilot controls altitude to find different wind directions, but there is no rudder. This is what makes every flight over Montserrat a unique and unrepeatable adventure.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the flight?
Safety is the absolute priority. If weather conditions are not suitable for flying, RocRoi offers a free date change or a full refund. Flights take place at sunrise, when atmospheric conditions are at their most stable.
Is it suitable for older people or those with a fear of heights?
Yes. A hot air balloon flight is a gentle, contemplative activity: there are no vibrations, no sudden sense of height and movement is virtually imperceptible. Suitable for people with basic mobility. Those with severe vertigo or serious heart conditions should consult their doctor before booking.
What exactly is included in the experience after landing?
After landing, we celebrate with a traditional toast of Catalan cava and enjoy a picnic-style breakfast. Each participant receives their flight diploma signed by the pilot and the professional photo report of the day — your souvenir of Montserrat's skyline from above.

COMBO Rafting + Bungee Swing on the Gállego River: From the Rapids to the Jump in Huesca
Murillo de Gállego, Zaragoza
In the morning, the Gállego river carries you. The raft, the guide, the team in unison — the rapids with the Mallos de Riglos looking like something from another world. In the afternoon, the river no longer carries you: you leap over it. Twenty-five metres of pendulum swing from the bridge, with the Gállego canyon below and the Mallos as witnesses. There is one exact moment between looking into the void and letting go. It lasts two seconds and rearranges the order of everything.
- Morning in the river, afternoon above it — two challenges, one spectacular setting
- No prior experience required — the first challenge of the day prepares you for the second
- Beginner Level in both activities — accessible from 14 years old
📍 Meeting point: UR Pirineos Base | RocRoi — Road A-132, Km 38, 22808 Murillo de Gállego, Huesca, Spain – View on map
The Rafting + Bridge Swing Pack experience on the Gállego River
The Pre-Pyrenean canyon carved by the Gállego over millions of years has two faces. This pack invites you to see them both on the same day: first from inside the water, then from the air.
Morning — Rafting: the river from within, as a team
The day begins at the Murillo de Gállego base. The RocRoi team hands out the technical gear — 5mm wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and neoprene booties — and the guide delivers the full briefing before heading to the starting point of the descent. El Embudo and the 'S' mark the moment when the group becomes a team. The guide steers the navigation and opens windows onto the surroundings — the geology of the canyon, the riverside wildlife, the history of the Kingdom of the Mallos — during the calm stretches between rapids. Two hours of actual descent, then back to the base with transport included.
Midday — Break in Riglos
Between activities, free time for a light meal in Riglos. The village sits literally at the foot of the Mallos — conglomerate spires of up to 300 metres that climbers know as one of the most important big wall destinations in Europe. Views of the river you've just descended, views of the wall you can't imagine climbing. The break is part of the day.
Afternoon — Bridge Swing: the same river, seen from the void
The guide equips each participant with a full-body harness, helmet and a certified double-rope, double-carabiner system, then delivers the technical briefing: the dynamics of the pendulum, the jump position, what to expect in the air. No rush. The bridge sits 25 metres above the Gállego, with the Mallos in the background. The jump is a pendulum swing: you don't fall vertically like in elastic bungee jumping — instead, you trace a clean arc beneath the bridge, with the river gleaming below. The dynamic rope absorbs energy progressively — a real, long sensation of flight, with no sudden bounce.
Note: The flow regulated by the La Peña dam guarantees optimal conditions on the Gállego from March to October for both activities.
What the experience feels like
Groups of friends: the plan that generates the best stories. Rafting brings the collective adrenaline; the bridge swing delivers the individual moment that everyone watches and cheers. Two different challenges, one day to remember.
Couples: shared adrenaline in the morning, each facing their own limit in the afternoon. There are ways of getting to know someone — and then there is jumping together into the void above the Gállego.
Those seeking personal growth: the sequence is no accident. Rafting acclimatises body and mind to active adventure; the bridge swing takes that confidence to a personal level. You return home with two new stories and a different perspective on your own limits.
What is included in the RocRoi Pack?
- Rafting: 5mm wetsuit, high-resistance helmet, high-buoyancy life jacket, neoprene booties and paddle
- Bridge swing: full-body harness, helmet, certified double-rope and double-carabiner system
- Qualified guides for each activity with full technical briefing
- Transport from the base to the rafting starting point
- Free parking at the base
- Accident and civil liability insurance for both activities
- Flexible cancellation policy: Up to 5 days before we give you a full refund; up to 48 hours before you can change the date or switch to an "ADVENTURE voucher".
What to bring – Rafting + Bridge Swing Pack Gállego
For your comfort and safety, we recommend bringing:
- Swimsuit (for rafting)
- Comfortable sportswear for the bridge swing — no skirts or loose clothing

- Long hair tied back (mandatory for the bridge swing)
- Warm clothing for the midday break (depending on the time of year)
- All technical equipment for both activities is fully provided by RocRoi
Practical details – COMBO Rafting + Bridge Swing Murillo de Gállego
Neither activity requires prior experience. The rafting is medium level — accessible from the first paddle stroke — and the bridge swing is resolved with a good technical briefing and the desire to cross that boundary.
- Minimum age: 14 years for both activities. Up to 18 years, parental authorisation is required for the bridge swing.
- Weight for the bridge swing: between 40 kg and 110 kg to guarantee the correct dynamics of the rope system.
- Level: Rafting grade III-IV; Bridge swing Beginner Level (Level 2), guided pendulum jump.
- Total duration of the day: approximately 7–8 hours including both activities, transfers and the midday break.
- Physical condition: knowing how to swim is essential for rafting. The bridge swing requires no physical effort, but participants must not suffer from vertigo or any of the stated medical contraindications.
- Limitations: not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart conditions, back or neck problems, vertigo, or other serious medical conditions. Always inform the guide before each activity.
- Mindset: a desire to paddle as a team in the morning and to push your own limits in the afternoon.
FAQs
Is prior experience required for either activity?
No. The medium-level rafting is accessible from the very first paddle — the guide explains the technique before entering the water and adapts the pace to the group. The bridge swing also requires no prior experience: the technical briefing covers everything needed to jump safely. The only requirements are no medical contraindications and, for rafting, knowing how to swim.
Can I do the pack if I'm afraid of heights?
Pre-jump fear is completely normal — and compatible with jumping. The safety system uses a certified double-rope, double-carabiner setup. The guide manages the protocol step by step, without rush or pressure. If you decide not to jump at the moment, you can cancel on the spot with no additional penalty. The jump only makes sense if it's your own decision.
Is rafting suitable if I've never paddled before?
Yes. The Gállego's grade III-IV is the ideal entry point for first-timers. The guide explains paddling technique before setting off and directs every movement on the water. The only requirement is knowing how to swim and following instructions. El Embudo and the 'S' are legendary named rapids, but with a well-coordinated team they are completely manageable.
Is the lunch break in Riglos included in the pack?
The midday break does not include food — it is free time for each group to rest as they wish. The village of Riglos has bars and options for a light meal with the Mallos as a backdrop. RocRoi can advise on available options when you book.
What is the difference between a bridge swing (puenting) and bungee jumping?
A bridge swing (puenting) is a pendulum jump using a dynamic climbing rope: you trace a clean arc beneath the bridge over the river, with no vertical bounce. Classic bungee jumping uses an elastic cord and the jumper bounces vertically. The bridge swing gives a longer, smoother sensation of flight and is gentler on the back.
Does the Gállego have enough water in summer for rafting?
Yes. The Gállego is regulated by the La Peña dam, which guarantees regular water releases throughout the season. This sets it apart from other Pyrenean rivers and allows rafting with a functional and safe flow from March to October.

The kayak hire experience in Vilanova i la Geltrú
The session begins at the RocRoi nautical base on Ribes Roges beach. Before entering the water, the team checks the wind and sea conditions and advises you on the best route for the day. The open kayaks (sit-on-top) by RTM and RPI are self-draining, stable and easy to handle: a few basic pointers and you will be paddling confidently, moving away from the swimming area and into a coastline that changes character with every stroke.
In a first hour you discover what the coast looks like from the sea: the Pasífae sculpture — three tonnes of copper gazing at the horizon from the breakwater — becomes your first landmark. You round the breakwater and catch a glimpse of the Cubelles shoreline. With two hours, and if conditions allow, you can reach the rocky formations of Punta Grossa, where the Garraf Natural Park cliffs drop straight into the Mediterranean.
Back at the base, well-equipped changing rooms and showers are waiting to close the experience as comfortably as possible. Nothing to sort out, nothing to improvise.
What the experience feels like
Families: a few hours on the water where the little ones set the pace and the adults rediscover the joy of exploring. The stability of the open kayak and supervision from the base give everyone peace of mind.
Couples: paddling together, discovering stretches of coastline only visible from the sea and sharing the unique perspective of the Pasífae sculpture from the water. An experience unlike anything you have done before.
Groups of friends: total freedom to explore the coastline at your own pace, in single or double kayaks as you prefer. Changing rooms and showers waiting when you get back to round off the day without any rush.

FAQs
How far can I go in 2 hours of kayaking?
Two hours is enough to leave the swimming area of Ribes Roges beach and explore the coastline at a relaxed pace: reach the Pasífae sculpture, round the breakwater and catch a view of Cubelles. A unique perspective on Vilanova that simply cannot be achieved from land.
Do I need prior experience for the 2-hour hire?
It is not required. The open kayak is very stable and easy to handle. For the 2-hour hire we recommend a basic level of fitness to enjoy the paddling. Before you set off, the RocRoi team gives you the basic instructions so you can paddle efficiently and safely from the very first minute.
What does the kayak hire price include?
The price includes the full technical kit: self-draining kayak (single or double), double-bladed paddle and certified buoyancy aid. You also have access to the changing rooms, showers and lockers at the RocRoi nautical base.
Will I get wet during the kayak hire?
Yes. As an open (sit-on-top) kayak, splashes from paddling are to be expected. We recommend wearing a swimsuit or technical clothing that can get wet. The changing rooms and showers at the base mean you can get changed comfortably when you finish.
Is it safe to paddle alone for 2 hours along the coast?
Absolutely. Before you set off, the RocRoi team analyses wind and sea conditions to point you towards the best route of the day. During the hire you will paddle in a monitored coastal area, and we have a support vessel on standby for any unexpected situation.

The 1h30 hydrospeed experience on the Noguera Pallaresa
The hydrospeed run from Yeti to Gulleri is the most demanding and complete descent the Noguera Pallaresa in Llavorsí has to offer. The experience starts at the RocRoi base, where you receive full kit — wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and fins — and a thorough technical briefing. The first few kilometres of calmer water allow you to settle your position, practise turning and understand how the hydroboard responds to each movement of your body.
Then the real river begins. La Lavadora and the Cuatro Largo are the two moments that define this experience: Class III and IV rapids where the current gathers all its power and you choose how to cut through it. The qualified guide accompanies you by kayak throughout the entire run, setting the optimal line and responding to every situation in real time.
The descent lasts approximately 90 minutes on the water, with a rest stop at La Moleta before the final section. Afterwards, the shuttle takes you back to the RocRoi base, where changing rooms with showers are waiting.
What the experience feels like
Couples: sharing La Lavadora together is one of those experiences that is not easily forgotten.
Groups of friends: nine kilometres gives you a lot to work with: technique, friendly competition and stories you will tell for years.

FAQs
Do I need prior experience for the 1h30 section?
Prior hydrospeed experience is not essential, but good physical fitness and confidence in the water are a real help. The technical briefing is thorough and the first few kilometres are designed to build your technique before the main rapids.
What happens if I let go of the hydroboard in a rapid?
This is a planned and controlled scenario. The high-buoyancy life jacket keeps you at the surface and the guide in the kayak reacts immediately. During the briefing you will learn the safety position (feet first) for floating through any section without the board in full control.
What is the best time of year for hydrospeed on the Noguera Pallaresa?
The season runs from March to October. May and June, with active snowmelt, offer the highest water levels and most powerful rapids. In July and August the river provides an optimal balance between excitement and water temperature.
How does this section differ from the 45-minute one?
The medium section (Yeti–Moleta) is ideal for beginners: accessible intensity, minimum age of 12 and a 45-minute duration. The long section (Yeti–Gulleri) doubles the distance and time on the water, adds Class IV rapids and is aimed at people with a sporting background looking for a more demanding, technical experience.
Is the equipment included in the price?
Yes. Wetsuit, certified helmet, life jacket, fins and hydroboard are all included. You only need to bring a swimsuit and, if you wish, a rash guard or thermal top to wear under the wetsuit.
