Itinerary
Your adventure begins at our Grau Roig center, where the team of guides welcomes you and introduces you to the fascinating world of igloos. After a brief explanation of techniques and interesting facts about these traditional structures, you will take a short walk through the snowy landscape until you reach a calm area perfect for working with the snow.
Here comes the best part: you will learn to identify the ideal snow, compact it, and shape the blocks that will allow you to build your own igloo. With the guide’s assistance, the group fits each piece together following an ascending structure that surprises with its stability. As the wall grows, so does the excitement of seeing a simple mound of snow transform into a real shelter.
The highlight comes when the dome is completed and you can step inside. You will feel that magical sense of silence and natural warmth that only an igloo can offer. You will have time to explore the interior, take photos, and celebrate the result with the group.
The activity concludes with a return to the center after approximately 1.5 hours of fun, learning, and an unforgettable winter experience.
