Montserrat Natural Park: Long route climbing course - Intermediate Level

If you already have climbing experience and want to improve your technique or become more independent when you go climbing, this course is for you.

Itinerary

Do you have a fascination for majestic walls and unique needles? Are you eager to step up and explore the world of equipped long routes? Do you already have experience in sport climbing and have you mastered it? If your answer is yes to these questions, then this course is perfect for you. In this experience, you will acquire all the skills and knowledge you need to be independent on routes with more than one pitch:

• Riding meetings
• Tie knots
• Interpret descriptions
• Handle double ropes
• Carry out abseils
• Manage ropes in belays
• Belay one or two climbers
• Know the necessary equipment
• Understand safety protocols

Included in the price

• Includes transport from Monistrol de Montserrat.
• It includes the collective and particular material (harness, climbing jacks and helmet) in case you don't have your own material.
• Includes guide with languages: Spanish, Catalan and English.
• Civil liability and accident insurance.

Difficulty of the activity

• Intermediate level. Suitable for people from 14 years old.
• Duration of the activity: 2 days consecutive from 9 am to 5 pm (16h)

What to bring

• A small backpack with water and some food.
• Comfortable and seasonally appropriate clothing.

Who can take part in this activity

• It is essential not to be afraid of heights.
• Minimum age: 18 years old
