Sea Kayaking

A sea kayak is a kayak developed for the sport of paddling on the open sea. Sea kayaks come in a wide range of materials, designs and sizes. Unlike the open kayak, the sea kayak has a covered deck. The main difference between both kayaks is that when tipping over, the sea kayak needs to be emptied whereas the open kayak does not. The sea kayak has handles on the bow and the stern as well as a lifeline that works as a fall prevention system. Previous kayaking experience is required for this activity.
