The Viu de Llevata Canyon Experience
The Viu de Llevata canyon, near Pont de Suert (Alta Ribagorça, Lleida), is one of the most complete canyoning experiences in the Catalan Pyrenees. Located between the Vall de Boí and the mountain core of the Alta Ribagorça, this descent stands out for its non-stop flow and dynamic character.
Rated Level 3 – Adventure, it requires good physical fitness and the drive to keep moving for several hours in an aquatic environment. It is not extreme or technically advanced, but it is long and more demanding than a beginner route — 3 real hours inside the canyon and a total duration of around 4 hours.
After meeting in Pont de Suert, you will receive certified technical equipment and a clear briefing from your qualified guide. From there, the route flows like a natural water park: constant progression, water and continuous movement through a spectacular setting of crystal-clear natural pools, rock-sculpted slides, abseils of up to 12 metres and exciting jumps — including the famous Tarzan jump.
It is a perfect choice for active families with children from age 12 (accompanied), sporty couples or groups who want a real adventure in Lleida, with the safety and professional support that defines RocRoi. The nearby Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park and the Alt Pirineu Natural Park also give you the chance to explore these protected areas before or after your descent.
