Progressive Sections and Exciting Challenges

The Via Ferrata del Tossal de Miravet is divided into three very obvious sections, each with escape options in case you need to leave before finishing. The difficulties increase progressively, allowing you to adapt and enjoy every moment of the climb.

First Section: Perfect Start to Warm Up

The first section has a difficulty of K2, with some isolated K3 pitches. Halfway up, you will come across two Nepalese bridges which, although not mandatory, are definitely worth crossing. After an aerial section, you’ll reach an easier area at the top of the ridge, as if you were at the tip of a needle.

Second section: Aerial Challenges and Vulture Views

The second section is more aerial, but always with good holds. This section follows a spur that drops slightly at some points, taking you to the top of the spur, where you can enjoy impressive views, such as a vulture lookout. After an easier section, you will reach the end of the second section.

Third Section: The Ultimate Challenge

The third section is the most aerial and difficult, with a difficulty of K4. It starts in a low vertical area, combining steps with natural hand and foot holds, which will allow you to make some nice climbing moves. You will continue along a second slightly more vertical ledge, overcoming an overhang with six clips not very far apart. This is the most athletic section and offers spectacular views of the Pont de Suert. Finally, an easier area will take you to the end of the via ferrata, where you will have the option of finishing off the adventure with a 25-metre aerial zip line.
