What the experience feels like
Families: a short introductory paddleboarding route, accessible from age 8 with a companion. Low physical impact, prior instruction with a licensed instructor and a free photo report documenting the day.
Couples: an hour and a half of SUP along one of the most photogenic stretches of the Costa del Sol. Sea caves, Maro Waterfall and a swimming stop — a compact escape that fits into a morning or afternoon.
Groups of friends: a short, well-organised plan: technical instruction, guided route along the Maro Cliffs and a swimming stop. For groups who want to make the most of the day without spending four hours in the water.

A short guided paddleboarding route with a licensed instructor along the Paraje Natural de los Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo, with prior technical instruction and a swimming stop. We do not recommend bringing a mobile phone into the water: it can get wet or fall in.

- Total duration: 2 hours
- Actual time on the water: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Best season: bathing season (May to October)
- Physical condition: normal. Swimming ability and sufficient fitness to paddle are essential.
- Restrictions: not suitable for people over 100 kg, pregnant women, those with prior injuries or conditions incompatible with physical activity.
- Attitude: come ready to paddle and to see this coastline from a completely different angle.

Do I need prior paddleboarding experience?
No. Before entering the water the instructor explains paddling technique and how to keep your balance. It is a route designed for progressive beginners.
Will we get to see the Maro Waterfall?
Yes. The route is designed to reach it, provided sea conditions are optimal and the guide considers access to be safe.
From what age can you take part?
The minimum age is 8 years with an adult companion. It is a family-friendly activity due to its low physical impact.
What do I need to bring?
Swimwear, sun protection, a cap and neoprene shoes or flip-flops. We provide the board, paddle, buoyancy aid and photo report. Do not bring your phone into the water.
What happens if I fall off the board?
Absolutely nothing. It is part of the learning process. The instructor helps you back up in seconds.
