The rafting with lunch experience in Llavorsí
The Llavorsí–Rialp stretch is the most renowned descent on the Noguera Pallaresa, perfectly summarising what this river has to offer: a variety of rapids, pristine natural surroundings, and a progression that turns any group into a team before reaching the first technical rapid.
The day begins at the RocRoi base in Llavorsí. The team issues the technical kit and the qualified guides run the briefing: paddling technique, positioning in the raft, safety protocols and a preview of the day's rapids. Once on the river, the descent builds progressively to the defining rapids of this stretch: La Lavadora (The Washing Machine), with its characteristic circular hydraulic, and the Salto del Ángel (Angel's Leap), the most intense point of the route.
When the descent finishes, the experience doesn't end in the water. The included traditional menu brings the group together over a plate of grilled local sausage (longaniza) with chips, goat's cheese salad and dessert, accompanied by bread and water. The gastronomic reward is built into the design of the day, not just an add-on.

FAQs
Do I need prior experience for this stretch?
No. It is a Beginner level: you only need to know how to swim and have normal physical fitness. RocRoi guides provide a full technical briefing before getting into the water, explaining paddling technique, safety positions and the features of the day's rapids.
What exactly does the menu include?
Goat's cheese salad, grilled local sausage with chips, dessert (ice cream), bread and water. The menu is served at a local Pallars restaurant after the descent. It is part of the day's design: the gastronomic reward after the physical effort.
How does this product differ from the Llavorsí–Rialp rafting without lunch?
This package includes the traditional Pallars menu at the end of the descent. The river stretch and the kit are the same; the difference is the full day experience: water adventure and mountain gastronomy in a single plan.
What happens if river conditions don't allow the activity to go ahead?
RocRoi monitors water levels daily. If conditions exceed safety margins, we offer a free date change or a full refund. Light rain does not cancel the activity: you'll be getting wet anyway.
When is the best time to do this rafting?
Spring (May–June) for the most powerful flow from the snowmelt, when the rapids are at their peak. Summer for a gentler descent accessible to all profiles. Both seasons include the menu and the same high quality of guiding.
