FAQs
From what age can children take part?
The recommended minimum age is 6, always depending on seasonal water flow. The Llavorsí–La Moleta section is rated Class II–III with one very safe Class IV rapid (La Lavadora), designed specifically for first whitewater experiences with full safety guarantees.
Is it dangerous if my child has never done rafting before?
No. This section is a true river baptism: the current is gentle, the guide is on every raft and all equipment is certified for children’s body sizes. The pre-activity briefing turns nerves into curiosity before anyone gets near the water.
What specific equipment is provided for children?
4 mm wetsuits in children’s sizes, high-buoyancy life jackets with head adjustment and CE-certified lightweight polycarbonate helmets. You only need to bring a swimsuit, towel and shoes that can get wet.
What happens if a child gets scared just before the start?
RocRoi guides are trained in group dynamics and youth leisure management. The land briefing is specifically designed to familiarise children with the equipment and the river before they get in. If a child still feels uncomfortable, the shore team is always on hand and coordinated.
How do we get back to the meeting point in Llavorsí?
At the end of the descent in La Moleta, RocRoi’s private transport takes you back to the base, where changing rooms and hot showers are waiting. No logistics to manage — just enjoy the ride.
