Who can perform this activity
FAQs
Is the Baén–Collegats section safe for young children?
Yes. The section is classified as Grade II-III, designed for family introduction. The current is accessible from age 6, and RocRoi guides specialise in family groups, always prioritising raft stability and the wellbeing of younger participants.
What technical equipment is provided to ensure safety?
High-quality wetsuits with thermal reinforcement, high-buoyancy life jackets sized for children’s weights, and certified helmets. All equipment undergoes rigorous checks in accordance with the Catalonia Active Tourism regulations.
How does this section differ from the Llavorsí–La Moleta family rafting?
The La Moleta section is shorter (45 minutes on the water) and aimed at the very first contact with the river for the youngest participants. This route is longer (2 hours), includes the Collegats Gorge and the Argenteria, and is ideal for families looking for a more complete activity with a stronger scenic component.
What happens if the Noguera Pallaresa is running very high?
The RocRoi team monitors the flow managed by the hydroelectric plants every day. If conditions exceed the safety standards for families, the activity is rescheduled or the section is adapted. The group’s safety always takes priority over any booking.
What should we bring on the day?
Swimsuit, towel and shoes that can get wet. All logistics — return transfers, technical equipment and insurance — are included. Just show up at the Llavorsí base ready for the river.
