How to get to the Center
Hort de Rei s/n, Llavorsí (25595) Lleida
The time of arrival at ROCROI activity centre is stated on your booking confirmation.
Please head with your booking confirmation to the second floor of our activity centre building. The person at the reception desk will confirm your booking and will give you the necessary instructions before you start the activity. You will be given the required equipment for this activity. After you have all your equipment, you will head to our changing rooms to get prepared. We recommend that you leave all unnecessary belongings and clothes in the lockers or in your vehicle. You are welcome to leave the keys of your vehicle at our reception desk.
You will take our shuttle service to the activity starting point. Once there, an instructor will show you which raft you need to go to, will give you useful information on the descent and will teach you how to raft properly and safely.
The Llavorsí-Rialp stretch has the most rapids on Noguera Pallaresa River. The first stretch (4 km long) is very quiet except for a rapid named "La Lavadora" (The Washing Machine, in English), which is the first grade IV rapid that you will encounter.
To complete a day of adventure, 2h of relaxing canoe paddling in La Torrassa lake, located in the Natural Park of the High Pyrenees. A perfect setting to disconnect and enjoy nature at your leisure.
After “La lavadora”, the river will get quiet again until km 5, where the longest rapids in Noguera Pallaresa are. The rapid called “Quatre llarg” is surely one of the longest and safest rapids in the world where commercial rafting can be done. You will enjoy waves and curls that will make you feel the thrill of white water rafting.
Halfway through the activity (km 8), you will reach Gulleri Bridge. And once there, you will enjoy the most intense rapids, such as “La Sirga”, “La Isla” and “El Cuatro Español”.
You will then reach Rialp Bridge (km 11) encountering more tranquil waters, except for random wave trains that you might meet on the way. This final stretch of the river will take you to the end of the rafting tour.
Once in Rialp, our shuttle service will be waiting to drive you back to our activity centre, where you will be able to get changed, take a shower or have a drink in our bar while you look at the photos taken during the rafting tour (if you previously booked our photo services).

In the afternoon, at 2:45 p.m. we will meet again at the RocRoi experience center in Llavorsí, we will confirm your reservation again and the person at the reception will give you the necessary instructions before starting the activity.
Once organized, you will be called to collect your equipment and we will move to the ravine. You will have to leave clothes and belongings in your cars. The car keys will be kept by the guides.
When we have the neoprene material on, we will give you the helmet and harness, and we will go trekking to the beginning of the ravine where the guide will give us the last explanations before carrying out the activity.
The approach is short and easy. And in the ravine, short rappels, numerous slides that make it a lot of fun and abundant water flow in spring.
In summer, its water flow decreases, being the right time to make its descent with the whole family. At the end of the descent we will be able to enjoy the Torrassa reservoir and the surroundings of the Alto Pirineo Natural Park.
Then, at 12:30 p.m., we will continue with the hydrospeed activity of 9 km of duration, we will get dressed again with the neoprene material, we will give you the helmet and vest, and we will prepare to listen to the explanation of the guides at the same base.
The section begins in the same base of ROCROI; There the guides will give us an exhaustive explanation of both the material (hydrospeed piece, where its literal translation would be “water sled”, and propulsion fins), as well as some initial concepts of turns, overturns, rapids and cons.
The journey begins at the foot of the rapid "La Lavadora". The first 3km are of calm waters, which will allow us to practice in situ, both turns, overturns and recoveries.
It is an individual activity where we will test our skill and our physical form since this activity is demanding in finning.
At all times, our experienced guides will guide us with their kayak through the rapids, following and interpreting the line of the river.
From there, the rapids begin and they give us no respite until we reach the Gulleri bridge, where we can take a break if we need to. The next four kilometers will bring us rapids such as “la Sirga” and a rapid called “Salto del Ángel” that will test our expertise.
The activity ends at the point we call “the Island”, since it is a place where the Noguera Pallaresa river forks and creates a small island between the two arms of the river.
Once on the island, our transport will wait for you to pick you up and transfer you back to the ROCROI activity center where you can change, take a shower, and enjoy the terrace of our bar while you see the photos of your descent.
