Two different settings, two experiences that perfectly complement each other. No prior experience needed.

The Pyrenees Pack experience: rafting and kayaking in one day

The Pyrenees Pack combines two of the most distinct and complementary water activities in the Pallars Sobirà: rafting on the Noguera Pallaresa river and free kayaking on Lake Torrassa. Two splendid settings in the Lleida Pyrenees in a single day, suitable for all levels.

In the morning, the RocRoi base in Llavorsí welcomes the group with full gear and a clear briefing. The Llavorsí–Rialp stretch is the most sought-after rafting run in the Pallars: progressive rapids, teamwork and stunning Pyrenean scenery with a qualified guide on board throughout. No prior experience needed — the river does the rest.

In the afternoon, Lake Torrassa — just 17 km along the C-13 — offers a completely different landscape. Calm waters, double or triple kayaks, and a free hour at your own pace: you choose where to paddle, when to stop and how to share the effort. This High Pyrenees lake is the perfect ending to the day.

What the experience feels like

Families: controlled adrenaline on the raft in the morning and total calm on the kayak in the afternoon. The perfect day for children to experience the Pyrenees to the fullest.

Couples: a day full of contrasts you will never forget: the rush of the river and the quiet beauty of the lake. Two moments, two photos, one perfect plan.

Groups of friends: laughs and adrenaline in the morning, and a relaxed afternoon on the lake to keep the conversation going and round off a perfect day.

FAQs

Is prior experience required to do the pack?

No. Both the rafting and kayaking include all the necessary instructions at the start. The only requirement is knowing how to swim. The rafting has a qualified guide on board throughout; the kayaking is self-guided on calm lake water.

What time does the kayaking at La Torrassa take place?

The kayaking takes place in the afternoon, whenever you choose. It is a self-guided, free activity: you arrive at the lake, collect the equipment and paddle for 1 hour at your own pace. We recommend booking a time slot when making your pack reservation.

How far is it between the rafting point and the lake?

The RocRoi base in Llavorsí and Lake Torrassa are about 17 km apart along the C-13 (approx. 20 minutes). A comfortable drive that lets you combine both activities without any rush on the same day.

Is it suitable for young children?

Yes. Kayaking at La Torrassa is suitable from 4 years old with an accompanying adult. Rafting is suitable from 6 years old in summer (with a responsible adult) or from 12 in spring. We recommend getting in touch with us to tailor the pack to the age and profile of your younger ones.

What is the difference between the rafting and kayaking in this pack?

They are opposite yet complementary experiences. Rafting is a group, guided activity on a river with rapids and high energy. Kayaking is self-guided, on the calm water of the lake, at your own pace and without a guide. Together they make up the ultimate summary of the aquatic Pyrenees.
