How many people can fit in a pedalo?
Our pedalos hold up to 4–5 people depending on the model. They are ideal for families or groups of friends who want to share the fun: while some pedal, others relax or launch themselves down the slide into the Garraf waters.
Is the water slide safe for young children?
Absolutely. RocRoi pedalos are very stable platforms and the hire includes buoyancy aids for all passengers, ensuring the little ones can slide in and swim with complete peace of mind in the buoy zone at Ribes Roges Beach.
Do I need any prior experience to steer it?
Not at all. Steering is extremely simple: pedals to move forward and a central rudder to steer. Our staff explain everything in a couple of minutes before you head out. It is the most intuitive water activity at our base.
What is the best time to hire a pedalo?
Mornings are ideal: the sea is calmer and pedalling is easier. At midday, the slide becomes the perfect way to cool down. Either way, from the pedalo you will have a privileged view of the Pasífae sculpture and the Vilanova skyline from the water.
Can I combine the pedalo with other activities at the base?
Yes. The pedalo is a perfect complement to a full day at the RocRoi Vilanova base. You can combine it with kayaking, paddle boarding or any other water activity and make use of the changing rooms and showers between sessions.
