Oxineu is the training center for mountain guides and introductory courses to mountain guiding for young people between 8 and 15 years old.
Canyoning, hiking, rock climbing, cave exploration, survival, and basic mountain safety techniques are some of the adventure experiences that these young people can have at our center in the Pre-Pyrenees.

La Vall de Núria: Snowshoeing baptism of 2h in Girona

In this baptism you will learn the basics to be able to start snowshoeing and also get to know the magnificent and spectacular surroundings of La Vall de Núria. You will get to know the most beautiful spots with our expert guides in the area who will show you around and explain interesting facts about the area.

Itinerary

In Vall de Núria there are different routes to enjoy snowshoeing. The routes are easy for all levels and allow you to leave the resort and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. The routes are usually no longer than 4km in total. These trails allow you to walk and learn how to use snowshoes effortlessly while enjoying the landscape that the Parc Natural de les Capçeleres del Ter i del Freser wants to preserve and make this environment a unique place. The most popular routes are: El camí del canal (circular route with 200m of slope and 3km approx), Pont de l'Escudé (linear route with 250m of slope and 4km approx), due to lack of snow outside the season the ascent to the Alberg Núria Xanascat will be done (similar characteristics to the outings described above).

La Vall de Núria: 2h alpine skiing group lessons in Girona

If you want to start skiing and you don't know how to do it, the best way to get started is this: a group class with an instructor where you will learn the basic techniques of skiing as well as meeting new people with the same aspirations as you. Have fun and learn!

Itinerary

In this class you will learn all about the world of skiing and start to master the equipment. During the session, our instructors will explain all the parts of the ski and its properties, the correct way to put on your boots and how to keep your balance with your boots and skis on. As the lesson progresses, posture and speed control will begin to gain importance as the instructor teaches you the basic moves for beginners, such as the wedge. Once you have mastered this technical movement, the guide will introduce you to the wedge turn, giving you the sensation of gliding down a ski slope with safety and good body habits. All this is what you will learn in this 2 hour session. Here the pace of learning is different depending on the person and the instructor adapts at all times to the personal needs of the group members.
