At IB Ballooning, we offer you the opportunity to live a unique and unforgettable experience: a thrilling hot air balloon ride over the breathtaking landscapes of the island!
Our centre is located in the charming town of Capdepera, where we have spacious facilities including a 300 m2 industrial building. Here we keep our six trailers with the balloons of our fleet, as well as all-terrain vehicles for the transport and tracking of the balloons during the flights. We also have a comfortable office where we manage all administrative aspects of our activities.
Once we set off into the sky, we travel to various points on the island, such as Cala Millor or Manacor, to begin our exciting balloon excursion. From the heights, you will be able to contemplate practically the entire island of Mallorca, enjoying spectacular panoramic views that will take your breath away.
During the flight, our experienced pilots will guide you and provide you with information about the area you are flying over, as well as details about the operation of the balloon. In addition, they will capture photos and videos of the passengers so that you can take back with you an unforgettable memory of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. And to toast to this unforgettable adventure, we offer a glass of cava on board so that you can enjoy a toast «of height».

Itinerary

The guide will contact you to arrange the meeting time and meeting point for the day of the activity, as depending on weather conditions and the time of sunrise the starting point and time may vary. The baskets can hold up to 10 people.
During the afternoons, we venture out to explore the east coast of Mallorca from the sky, passing over villages such as Cala Millor, Sant Llorenç and Arta. From the heights, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the whole island, as the balloon drifts gently in the sea breeze.
Our balloon flights do not follow a pre-established route, but are carried by the wind, which means that each trip is a unique and unpredictable adventure. Enjoy the thrill of being carried by the air and discover new landscapes and surprises on every flight. During the ascent, you will experience a sense of calm and serenity as the balloon gently rises to heights of between 300 and 500 metres. During the flight, our expert pilot will share interesting details about the places we fly over, as well as information about how the balloon works. We'll also capture photos and videos of your experience so you can relive it over and over again. To add a special touch to your adventure, we'll offer you a glass of cava so you can toast "high up" while enjoying the breathtaking views from the sky. After approximately one hour of flight, we will begin a gentle descent in search of an optimal place to land. Once on dry land, we will pick up the balloon at the same point of departure and return to the starting point in our off-road vehicles.

The descent is also smooth and safe, since our pilot will look for the optimal landing point following the wind indications. Once on dry land, we pick up the balloon at the same landing point and return to its starting point in our all-terrain vehicles.
