Alcor Extremadura is located in the basin of the river Alcarrache, which occupies approximately 80 km2 and runs from its source between the mountain formations of Sierra Brava and Sierra de Santa María, in the vicinity of Barcarrota and Salvaleón, to the south of Villanueva del Fresno, where it leaves Extremadura.
Along its 59 km you will find a landscape dominated by the pink and white of the oleanders in spring and the purple of the tamujos in winter.
As for the fauna, the most representative species is the black stork, which uses the river as a feeding area, where it can be observed from a distance while you go on one of the adventures we suggest.

The Aguijón reservoir, near the nature classroom in Badajoz, is the perfect setting for this activity. In this competitive activity, two types of games can be combined and whoever wins points moves up in the ranking. The activities can be customised according to the type of group: zip-lining, paddle surfing, abseiling, crossing suspension bridges, archery, kayaking, crossing the monkey bridge or cycling. The competition will be your 'Olympic games' but full of activities in nature, specifically, four activities to choose from depending on the season (water or dry activities). Teams will be from 2 to 4 people, the more the merrier! This experience can only be booked for a minimum of 10 people.
