Itinerary

The time of arrival and starting point of the activity is stated on your booking confirmation. Our guide will be waiting there to welcome you and to organise the activity. In Espot village you will visit Casa del Parc Nacional d’Espot, which is a large information center that provides trekkers with information on the state of the park, maps, etc. It also organizes exhibitions, courses and conferences. Once you are set, you will either walk or take a taxi (not included in the price) to Estany de Sant Maurici. Please note that the price of the taxi ride is not included in the price of this activity. Aigües Tortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is one of the fourteen Spanish National Parks and the only located in Catalonia. High mountain sceneries, impressive slopes, a wide variety of fauna and vegetation can be found there. With nearly 200 lakes, water is the main attraction of the park. Glacial phenomena, such as U-shaped valleys and lakes, can be seen in the Park. Alpine fields, black pine and fir forests cover some mountain peaks that can reach up to 3,000 meters. It is a true paradise for nature lovers; lakes, streams, waterfalls, peat bogs, massive rocks, rugged peaks, dense black pine forests, firs and birches are home to diverse fauna.
