Itinerary

The best canyon in Andalusia to start canyoning: Río Verde. Full of jumps, abseils and rafts during a 4km route, always accompanied by one of our expert guides who will make you live a unique experience.

Excitement, adrenaline, adventure, outdoor, this canyon has it all. During the tour our guides will explain interesting facts about the area and show you how to descend in the best way to make your experience an unforgettable moment.

STANDARD TIMETABLE (MAY VARY ACCORDING TO AUTHORISATION FOR THE ENTRANCE SHIFT)

8h30 Meeting at the meeting point and departure from Nerja. Burriana beach. LOCAL MEETING POINT EDUCARE AVENTURA

9h30 Arrival at the starting point of the activity. Entrance gate Rio Verde. Junta de los Rios

10h30 Start of the activity, the first part consists of hiking along the left bank of the river until you reach the area of descent. This is a very beautiful route with spectacular panoramic views.

11h30 Estimated arrival at the “Y” waterfall pool. We put on our suits and safety equipment, recommendations and instructions from the instructor. Descent begins.

11h30 – 14h30 It takes about 3 hours to make the descent in a comfortable and unhurried way. There will be some jumps (optional) and two rappels.

14h30 – 15h00 Estimated time of arrival at the vans. We take off our wetsuits and safety equipment. We put on dry clothes and have a drink to regain strength. Once ready we return to Nerja.

16h00 – 16h30 Estimated time of arrival in Nerja.

If you need to leave your belongings safely, we have lockers for you to leave your belongings. There is a limited number of lockers. Lockers are an extra service with a cost of 2€ to be paid on the day of the activity. Please contact us to book your ticket in advance.

Free GoPro photo report and videos downloadable via web link. (It is not common, but, loss of data, images or even loss of the card or camera due to an uncontrolled accident can occur. For this reason, we specify that no claims for missing images or missing photo reportage will be entertained if this should occur).

Reservation and cancellation policy

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The cancellation of an activity up to 72 hours prior to the start of the contracted activity entails a 5% penalty of the total amount of the booking as a cancellation fee. After this period or in the case of no-show, the penalty is 100% of the total amount with no right to a refund.
No refunds will be made in case of no-show: always show up 20 minutes before the time of the activity.
The responsibility for the service and its invoicing lies solely with the “Service Provider” according to the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of purchase.
We remind you that these activities may be SUSPENDED due to weather conditions that do not allow the activity to be carried out safely. The route can be cancelled at the same time without prior notice. If the activity is cancelled for these reasons, the amount charged will be refunded by the same means of payment. However, we recommend that you check your email or WhatsApp a few days before the activity in case we have sent you a reminder message confirming the activity or cancelling it due to bad weather.

What to bring

Swimming costume, cap, sun protection, flip-flops or booties, T-shirt and water bottle.
Eat something light before the activity. Bottle of water.
We do not recommend that you take your mobile phone with you, as you may lose it if it falls into the water or gets wet. The monitors have a GoPro camera and the filming is free of charge.
Personal lockers are available in the departure area with a key for a fee of €2 per locker (three medium-sized backpacks can fit). We also have waterproof mobile phone cases for sale.
