Itinerary

The route of this kayaking activity starts at Burriana beach in Nerja to the Maro Waterfall, a unique and spectacular natural spot that you can enjoy from a kayak in the water.

During the tour you will stop for a swim with goggles and you will be able to observe the marine biodiversity of Nerja.

Our expert guides will give you some previous explanations to learn how to paddle surf in the sea.

Included in the price

Kayak, paddle, life jacket.
Snorkelling goggles. The instructor of the activity will bring goggles for everyone who wants to swim. It is allowed to bring your own diving goggles under the responsibility of each client.
Free GoPro photo report and videos downloadable via web link. (It is not common, but, loss of data, images or even loss of the card or camera by uncontrolled accident can occur. For this reason, we specify that no claims for missing images or missing photo reportage will be entertained if this should occur).
Qualified instructors with specific technical knowledge.
Theoretical instruction and previous explanations by the guides to carry out the activity.
Permits from the competent authorities to carry out the activity (Junta Andalucía, Environment Junta Andalucía).

Reservation and cancellation policy

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The cancellation of an activity up to 72 hours prior to the start of the contracted activity entails a 5% penalty of the total amount of the booking as a cancellation fee. After this period or in the case of no-show, the penalty is 100% of the total amount with no right to a refund.
No refunds will be made in case of no-show: always show up 20 minutes before the time of the activity.
The responsibility for the service and its invoicing lies solely with the “Service Provider” according to the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of purchase.
We remind you that these activities may be SUSPENDED due to weather conditions that do not allow the activity to be carried out safely. The route can be cancelled at the same time without prior notice. If the activity is cancelled for these reasons, the amount charged will be refunded by the same means of payment. However, we recommend that you check your email or WhatsApp a few days before the activity in case we have sent you a reminder message confirming the activity or cancelling it due to bad weather.

What to bring

Swimming costume, cap, sun protection, flip-flops or booties, T-shirt and water bottle.
Eat something light before the activity. Bottle of water. If you are prone to motion sickness, take motion sickness pills 2 hours beforehand and avoid alcoholic drinks.
You can carry your mobile phone in a waterproof case, but the company is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any mobile or digital devices that customers wish to bring on the route and get lost or wet.
In the departure area we have personal lockers with a key at a cost of €2 per locker (three medium-sized backpacks fit). We also have waterproof mobile phone cases for sale.

Who can perform this activity

It is essential to know how to swim and to be able to paddle independently.
Minimum age without companions: 18 years old
The activities are subject to the professional judgement of the technicians in charge.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women, both because of the sitting position in the kayak and because of the risk of capsizing the boat.
People weighing less than 120kg. If you weigh more than 120kg, please contact the company to assess your participation.
