The introductory climbing experience in Pont de Suert
Introductory rock climbing takes place just outside El Pont de Suert, in a calm, well-equipped setting where you can start completely from scratch. It is an activity designed for learning at your own pace, without rushing, with a certified guide by your side throughout.
The practice areas are set up specifically for beginners. Depending on the weather, we head to the Aigüestortes National Park, the Cavallers area in the Vall de Boí (granite rock climbing) or to Sopeira, in the Escales area (limestone rock).
The session starts with a clear briefing on equipment and safety: how to use the harness, helmet, ropes and the basics of belaying. From there, your guide suggests accessible, progressive routes adapted to the group's real level, so you build confidence step by step.
Throughout the activity you will work on coordination, balance and reading the wall, always with practical support and feedback. The goal is for you to leave feeling confident, not worn out, enjoying every small achievement along the way.
Climbing is done on natural rock, in areas chosen for their safety and comfort, making this experience an ideal first contact with the vertical world.
