Hiking route 8h in Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park

Embark on one of the most impressive and highly recommended hikes in the Spanish Pyrenees: the Faja de las Flores in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. This route offers dazzling panoramic views of the imposing peaks and cliffs that surround the Ordesa Valley, promising you an experience you will remember forever.

Your adventure begins in the Ordesa meadow. Please note that during summer and Easter, it is compulsory to take a bus to reach this point. From here, a challenging and exciting ascent awaits you.

The route climbs 1,100 metres in height over 11 kilometres.

This spectacular route is reached by overcoming the Clavijas del Circo de Carriata, a rock climb with the help of elements installed on the wall that the guide protects with a safety rope. Once you have gained altitude, you cross a narrow horizontal strip known as the “Faja de las Flores”, which offers the opportunity to contemplate a wide variety of flora and fauna. The descent is made through the Cotatuero valley, next to its impressive waterfalls and with another pass of pegs that will not leave you indifferent.
