Hydrospeed Yeti–Gulleri (1 h 30) with Lunch | Noguera Pallaresa
View photos
Hydrospeed is not rafting with less protection — it is swimming the rapids with a buoyant board. 90 minutes in the Noguera Pallaresa, body-down from Yeti to Gulleri, through La Lavadora and the Cuatro Largo just centimetres from the current. It is the most physical activity we run in Llavorsí, and that is why this version includes a home-cooked lunch afterwards. It is not an add-on — it is what your body will demand.
Gear up in a reinforced wetsuit, get in the river, rest at La Moleta, get back in, exit at Gulleri and eat. Simple.
- Level 3 — Adventure: class III–IV rapids from age 14 with an accompanying adult
- Home-cooked set menu: starter + main + dessert + bread + water
- 1 h 30 swimming the river + La Moleta stop + lunch

What the experience feels like
Couples: the most physical adventure activity you can share as a couple in the Pallars Sobirà. La Lavadora from inside the rapid, a breather at La Moleta, and a home-cooked lunch on return. A plan for couples who already know rafting and want the next level.
Groups of friends: 1 h 30 swimming the Noguera Pallaresa together, the Pallars rapids from the low angle, then lunch back at base. The plan for groups coming to the Pyrenees for real adrenaline who need the calories to close the day.
Solo adventurers: for anyone seeking the most physical water activity in the Catalan Pyrenees. Hydrospeed is swimming the rapids, and eating afterwards is part of the plan — not an optional extra.

Who can perform this activity
FAQs
It’s my first time doing hydrospeed — can I book the version with lunch?
Yes. The lunch version does not require previous hydrospeed experience, but it does require good fitness and strong swimming ability. The initial technical briefing teaches finning technique and how to read the current. What differs from the version without lunch is not the difficulty — it is that the day includes the gastronomic finish back at base.
Why include lunch in such a physical activity?
Out of real need, not marketing. 90 minutes swimming rapids in water at 12–14 °C burns a lot of calories and drops body temperature. The home-cooked lunch on return is not an optional extra — it is what the body needs to recover energy and warmth after the descent. That is why this version exists.
What does the home-cooked set menu include?
The menu includes a starter with 2 or 3 choices, a main course with the same variety, dessert, bread and water. It is home-cooked Pallars food with local produce. Wine and other drinks are not included but can be ordered separately. We cater for vegetarians, allergies and intolerances if notified in advance.
What is the difference from hydrospeed without lunch?
The technical activity is the same: Yeti–Gulleri, same gear, same guide, same rapids, same time in the water. The difference is how the day ends: the lunch version adds the home-cooked menu on return to base, with no need to drive off in search of a restaurant after the activity. It is the recommended option for groups and couples visiting from outside who don’t know the Pallars restaurants.
Will I be very cold during the descent?
The reinforced long wetsuit, neoprene socks and neoprene shoes maintain body temperature throughout the descent. The stop at La Moleta halfway allows you to rest and warm your hands. Even so, hydrospeed is a cold activity by definition: it is not unpleasant if you are fit, but it is not for anyone looking for a gentle outing. For that we recommend rafting.
