'Salt del Boatanal' is the new via ferrata (Italian for ‘iron path’) in Alins, in the Ferrera Valley. Launched on May 15, 2021, it offers a fun mountain experience that’s suitable for everyone from 11 years old. A via ferrata is a vertical or horizontal itinerary equipped with elements for helping the crossing: nails, staples, dams, handrails, chains, suspension bridges and zip lines, which allow you to safely reach areas that are difficult to access for hikers. We provide the best equipment to guarantee your safety along this path: A steel wire line running throughout the entire via ferrata and hiking material such as the harness and special via ferrata carabiners.

Itinerary

Park your car in the parking lot in Alins.

Walk 10 minutes from the parking lot until the beginning of the trail.

Before starting, the guide will provide a short explanation on how to use the material to face the activity in complete safety.

The route follows the rock that is right in front of the town of Alins until you reach the ‘Botanal’, where the ”Falles’ route takes place during the party of San Juan. You will follow this path until you reach the town of Alins.
