Itinerary

The route starts at our center in El Portús. You will kayak under steep cliffs and high mountains, in front of the purest and wildest Mediterranean landscape offered by the natural park of the Sierra de La Muela, Cabo Tiñoso and Roldán. After about 30 minutes of route, you will reach the coves of the star, with the three main seabed ecosystems: sandbanks, rock reefs and a large expanse of oceanic posidonia meadows. When you reach the island of Los Colomos, a protected marine reserve and ZEPA area (bird protection figure, in this case for the Cory's Shearwater and the Common Storm-Petrel) you will anchor your kayak, and after a little rest and prepare for snorkeling: discover the seabed, a sanctuary for a great diversity of marine species. On the way back you will be separated from the coast, which will offer you a new perspective of the magnificent environment for about 30 minutes of paddling. A delicious lunch based on local products will serve to replenish your energy and calm your nerves before a great raffle, if you win you will get both a snorkeling equipment and another of the best adventures, the Giant's Cave activity!
