The descent of the river Deva is 6 kilometres, starting from the village of Buelles (Asturias) and arriving in Unquera (Cantabria). During the whole route you will be surrounded by nature and tranquility, enjoying the environment and its crystal clear waters with the possibility of observing typical fauna of the river, such as ducks and fish. This river, together with the mythical river Sella, is one of the safest in Spain.

Itinerary

The canoe descent of the Deva River consists of descending the river in its lower section, covering 6km of the 64km that the Deva River has in total, whose source is in Fuente Dé, which is part of the Picos de Europa National Park.

You will pass through the gorge of La Hermida and flow into the Tina Menor estuary shared by Cantabria and Asturias. On the way you will pass through exciting passes such as “La Haya”.
During the descent you can enjoy the forests that accompany the river all along its course and you can stop at the different stone and sandy beaches.

Equipment: paddle, helmet, lifejacket, neoprene, neoprene sock.

Reservation and cancellation policy

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
In order to be able to pay for an activity, you must cancel at least 7 days before the activity is due to take place. From the seventh day until 3 days before the activity, 10% of the reservation is charged as a penalty; and from the third day until 1 day before the activity, 50% of the reservation is charged; and 24 hours or less before the time of the activity, 100% of the reservation is charged.
No refunds will be made in case of no-show.
The responsibility for the service and its invoicing lies solely with the “Service Provider” according to the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of purchase.
