How does the safety system work and what happens if a child panics five metres up?
The park is equipped with the latest German continuous lifeline system. The harness clips onto the steel cable at the start of the circuit and it is technically impossible to unclip during the aerial games until you return to ground level. If a participant panics or gets stuck, qualified guides carry out a quick and safe assisted evacuation from the ground.
What are the mandatory age and height requirements to enter Bosque Suspendido?
The circuit is designed for participants from age 5 with an adult, and from age 8 unaccompanied. The only non-negotiable physical requirement is a minimum height of 1.20 metres to comfortably reach the cables and carabiners of the continuous lifeline. Not suitable for people with severe vertigo.
What does the price include and how long does the activity last?
Admission gives you 1 hour in the facility. It includes the rental of all protective technical equipment (certified full-body harness, helmet and continuous lifeline lanyards), compulsory accident and civil liability insurance, access to the El Colvillo Rural Complex pine forest, and constant supervision by qualified guides on the ground.
Is it suitable if someone in the group has a fear of heights or mild vertigo?
Not recommended for people with severe vertigo. For mild vertigo it depends on the individual: the continuous lifeline system guarantees it is impossible to fall, which helps many people overcome their fear. If you have doubts, check with the team when booking. Guides adjust the pace and can evacuate anyone who gets stuck at height.
What should I wear and what footwear is compulsory?
Closed sports shoes with laces that hold the foot firmly are compulsory. Flip-flops, open sandals or any loose footwear are prohibited, due to the risk of losing them on the circuit and causing an accident. Sports clothing suited to the weather and sun cream are recommended. All technical equipment (harness, helmet) is provided by the centre.
