What the experience feels like
Families: the calm kayaking hooks the little ones from the first stroke; the rafting reminds them the Pyrenees can also push back. Two perfect days to share from age 6.
Couples: paddling together in silence on day one and laughing together in the rapids on day two. Few getaways combine calm and excitement this well in a single weekend.
Groups of friends: the kayak invites exploration and the rafting sparks competition. Two days, two completely different experiences for a group that wants more than a single activity.

What is included in your RocRoi experience?
Day 1 – Kayak on the Escales Reservoir:
- Technical equipment: kayak or canoe, paddle and life jacket
- Certified instructor/guide throughout the activity
Day 2 – Rafting on the Noguera Ribagorçana:
- Technical equipment: wetsuit, jacket, neoprene boots, life jacket, helmet and paddle
- Transport to the starting point (included)
- Certified instructor/guide
Both days:
- Accident and civil liability insurance
- Flexible cancellation policy: Up to 5 days in advance we give you a full refund; up to 48 hours before you can change the date or switch to an “ADVENTURE voucher”.

What to bring – 2-Day Kayak & Rafting Pack Pyrenees
For your comfort and safety, we recommend bringing:
- Swimwear and towel (essential on both days)
- Sports shoes that fasten securely and can get wet (suitable for both days)
- Dry change of clothes for after each activity
- Lycra layer or thermal top (especially recommended for rafting)
- Glasses strap for those who need one
What to bring

Level 1–2 – Discovery / Introductory: two water activities requiring no prior technical experience, with a natural progression from lower to higher intensity. Certified RocRoi guides throughout.
- Minimum age: from 6 years old with a responsible accompanying adult.
- Physical fitness: normal, no prior technical requirements for either activity.
- Limitations and contraindications: basic swimming ability required (both activities). Not recommended for pregnant people (rafting). Not recommended for those with heart conditions or serious medical issues. Kayaking can be adapted for people with reduced mobility — please contact us before booking. It is essential to inform your guide before starting each activity of any allergy, phobia or physical limitation.
- Mindset: curiosity and energy — the Pyrenees and the Noguera Ribagorçana do the rest.
Who can perform this activity
FAQs
Do I need previous experience in kayaking or rafting?
No. Neither activity requires prior technical knowledge. Both start with a full briefing and include a certified RocRoi guide throughout.
Are the two meeting points far apart?
No. The kayak departs from the Escales rest area in Bonansa (Huesca) and the rafting from the RocRoi ECEM base in El Pont de Suert (Lleida). The two points are less than 30 minutes apart by car, so you can stay in either village or anywhere in between.
Can we do this pack with young children?
Yes. Kayaking on the Escales Reservoir is suitable from age 6 with an adult, and rafting from age 5–6 depending on water levels. It is one of the most family-friendly packs in the Pyrenees.
Is accommodation included?
No. The pack covers both guided activities with all equipment. Both Bonansa and El Pont de Suert have accommodation options nearby — we are happy to point you in the right direction.
What happens if weather prevents one of the activities?
If conditions are not safe, RocRoi will notify you in advance and offer a date change, an equivalent alternative activity, or a refund of the relevant amount in line with the current cancellation policy.
