What the experience feels like
Families: Children from age 9 get on boards designed for them and the qualified guide corrects each one’s posture. The adult learns alongside. The shared tumble into the water is the best memory of the day.
Groups of friends: Minimum three, maximum whatever the group fits. The one who learns first helps the next, the guide keeps an eye on everyone. The laughter comes with every splash — and the feeling of control at the end makes it all worthwhile.

FAQs
Is windsurfing hard if I have no sense of balance?
No. We use wide, stable beginner boards designed so that anyone can stay upright from the very start. Balance is not the limiting factor — technique is learned with the qualified guide within the first few minutes.
What happens if there’s no wind on the day of the course?
If conditions are below the minimum needed to sail, we postpone the class to another date or give you a full refund. The Levante blows regularly at La Marina, but safety always comes first.
What do I need to bring to the windsurfing course?
Just swimwear and a towel. RocRoi provides a wetsuit if needed, the buoyancy aid and all technical equipment. No need to bring anything special.
From what age can you start windsurfing in Valencia?
From age 9 with an adult companion. The beginner equipment is adapted for children and the qualified guide adjusts the pace of the class to each group.
Is windsurfing dangerous for beginners at La Marina?
No. We sail in a breakwater-sheltered area, under the supervision of qualified guides and with buoyancy aids mandatory. La Marina’s setting eliminates the swell from the open Mediterranean.
