Itinerary de via ferrata Patacons (Tarragona)

This is one of the essential via ferratas in Tarragona. Located in the village of l’Albiol, it is possibly one of the best in Catalonia.

It offers impressive views of the Sierra de la Mussara. This route is particularly notable for its length and excellent equipment. In all its sections, abseils have been installed that allow you to leave the activity at any time.

The route has 4 Nepalese bridges, the option of ascending to a needle for a 20-metre abseil and stands out for its 7-metre overhanging section, which we cross by holding on to a chain and leaning out over the abyss. It also includes climbing passages and an exciting 10-metre final abseil.

In short, if you have done other via ferratas and want to enjoy the next level and the various options offered by this sport, such as abseiling, don’t hesitate to try this route.
