Via Ferrata Croqueta de Obarra Level K4 in Obarra: Pont de Suert, Pyrenees

First section: Vertical Wall and Natural Holds

Your adventure begins with a first section that runs along a wall where vertical areas alternate with rock holds. This initial section is perfect for warming up and adapting to the environment. After overcoming these first difficulties, you will continue on easier terrain until you reach a wide strip from where you will walk to the start of the second section. Here, you will have climbed approximately 100 metres.

Second Section: Verticality and Tibetan Bridge

The second section is even more exciting, with very vertical, well-equipped terrain that follows a beautiful wall with the occasional overhanging step. You will use natural rock holds, which adds an authentic touch to the climb. You will reach the first Tibetan bridge, a thrilling experience in itself. Once over the bridge, you will reach the top of a spire at an altitude of 1,333 metres, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.

Third Section: Ridge and Aerial Spur

The third section of the via ferrata continues along an edge and descends a dihedral of about 10 metres. You will then cross a vira to reach the second bridge. After crossing it, you will progress along an aerial and vertiginous spur at the Aguja de la Croqueta. This section takes you to an aerial traverse that brings you to the third bridge, equipped with hand and foot ropes. Finally, you will overcome the last wall, which is somewhat easier, and reach the top of the Aguja de la Croqueta de Obarra, at an altitude of 1,396 metres.
