Do you want to surf the fresh waters of the Jerte Valley in a fun and accessible way? We invite you to try paddle surfing or stand up paddle in this natural paradise. You will be able to glide standing up on a stable inflatable board, paddling with a loneg paddle while you contemplate the forests and mountains of the valley.

Itinerary

You will paddle along the tail end of the Valdecañas reservoir, inside the Monfragüe National Park. You will paddle 5 km upstream, with a low difficulty as it is open water with no currents. You will slide your board along the surface of the reservoir surrounded by Mediterranean forest, while admiring the canyon walls that rise up to 180 metres above the riverbed.

You will pass under the Sierra de Gredos Bridge to enter the deltas formed in the Rivera de Aurela and Rivera de Batuecas. Further on you will reach the Isla del Rey, a natural oasis where grey herons and other aquatic birds nest. Finally, you will disembark at El Tejo Beach, within the Sierras de Risco Viejo Natural Monument.

Our paddle surf boards are made from recycled material to minimise our environmental impact. A quiet 3-hour ride that will allow us to connect with nature while practising a sustainable and healthy fashionable sport. The ideal paddle surf to get started in this fantastic place!

Reservation and cancellation policy

The client may cancel the contracted services, being entitled to a refund of the amounts paid, minus the administration and cancellation costs. The amount of these costs are as follows:
- 15% of the advance payment if the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the booked date.
- 40 % if the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the booked date.
- 60 % if cancellation is made 15 days or less before the booked date.
- 100% if cancelled 7 days or less before the booked date.
All prices are subject to change without notice. In canyoning, changes will be made to canyoning in the following cases: bad weather or low canyon flow.
No refunds will be given in case of no-shows.
The responsibility for the service and its invoicing lies solely with the “Service Provider” according to the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of purchase.
