On this hiking route you will cross the highest peaks of the Garganta de los Infiernos Nature Reserve, with breathtaking views of the Jerte Valley. Depending on the season, you will be able to see endemic plants that are not found in other parts of the region, such as the Dragoncillo de Gredos and the Manzanilla de Gredos, among others.

Itinerary

This is the route par excellence that you must do if you want to get to know the Jerte Valley. We will meet you early in the morning, as the duration can exceed 10 hours depending on the pace of the adventurers. Our certified mountain guides of the Jerte Valley and the Garganta de los Infiernos are expert interpreters of the natural environment and will make your activity an experience full of emotion, knowledge and will help you to overcome all the obstacles you may encounter along the way.

During this hiking route you will be able to see large groups of mountain goats and the remains of ancient glaciers.

It is a route of high difficulty, not recommended for people with little physical preparation, due to its long duration over rough terrain, but at the same time it is a highly recommended route, as you will always be accompanied by one of our expert guides.

You will be able to visit unique natural sites in the area, including the Serra Valley, a valley of glacial origin in Extremadura. You will cross the Alto del Castilfrio, the Cuerda de la Azagallas and the Cerro del Estecillo.
