Beginner activity: no prior technical experience required, moderate physical effort. Self-guided hire: no guide on the water, but a basic stand-up briefing is given when equipment is handed over.

- Fitness and limitations: Normal. You must be able to swim.

No. The hire boards at La Marina are wide and inflatable, designed for beginners. Most people get to their feet within the first few minutes. The calm water at La Marina helps a great deal.
What happens if I fall into the water?
Nothing. The leash attaches the board to your ankle so it won’t drift away. The optional buoyancy aid ensures you stay afloat. Falls are part of the experience — and the Mediterranean in summer is far from unpleasant.
