This is a 3 hour guided kayak route in Cala Portitxol where you will visit the huge Portitxol Island, where you will find the cave and the natural pool. Afterwards you will sail around the bay to end up in a paradisiacal spot called 'Cala del Pom', a cave only accessible by swimming from which natural filtered water comes out. This gift voucher is subject to availability and number of people per departure, you must call before redeeming your voucher.

Itinerary

This kayak route from Cala Portitxol is designed for adventurers who want an extra dose of fun and adrenaline, as well as visiting incredible and unique places.

The route starts from the Portitxol Cove itself, you will sail towards the island where you will make a short stop. You will take an adventurous walk along the side of the island and climb up to the cave, where you will discover a unique space with views that few can say they have seen, followed by the ‘photo for my insta’ moment. Next, you’ll take a dip in the natural pool hidden behind the cave, where you’ll be able to jump from a high point, only suitable for the most daring.

Once you’ve seen Portitxol Island and your guide has told you some interesting stories and anecdotes, you’ll head for the other corner of the bay. You will pass under a natural arch about 5m long which will give way to one of the most unique photos you will remember (if the sea is rough you will take it from the other side).

Once you’ve seen the arch you’ll reach the last stop before heading home. You’ll stop at a small cove with crystal clear waters to swim for about 2 minutes until you reach a hideaway that houses a natural water sprinkler filtered from the rock that has made some spectacular formations.

Who can perform this activity

It is essential to know how to swim.
Minimum age unaccompanied: 18 years old
Persons who together do not exceed the maximum stable buoyancy of the kayak (200kg).
Children over 12 years old (or strong enough to do 15 minutes of paddling in 3 sections).
The activities are subject to the professional judgement of the technicians in charge.
