No. The horses are gentle and the route is designed for complete beginners. Before setting off, the qualified guide runs a basic briefing so you feel comfortable from the very first step.
What is the minimum age for children?
From age 6 with an adult, although this may vary depending on the child’s level of autonomy (6–7 years at the guide’s discretion on the day). Unaccompanied participants must be at least 18 years old.
What clothing is mandatory for the horse ride?
Long trousers and closed-toe shoes are essential for safety. The rest of the equipment — including the safety helmet — is provided by RocRoi.
What route will we follow?
We follow the Noguera Pallaresa river through the Alt Pirineu Natural Park along traditional horseshoe trails through forests of black pine and fir.
Is there a briefing before we set off? What if I have never ridden?
Yes. Before the ride begins, the guide explains how to mount, how to communicate with the horse and what to do at every stage. No prior experience is needed — the guide stays with you for the entire route.
