Cuenca: Guided kayak route on the Guadiela river

During this experience you will visit a wonderful place surrounded and wedged between the Sierras de en medio and Altomira, a perfect place to disconnect in the real heart of the Alcarria.

You will be able to enter the cave of the turtles, see one of the largest colonies of griffon vultures in the canyon and make an intermediate stop for a refreshing swim. The more daring can jump from different areas that your guide will show you so that it is fun and safe.

To ensure everything is as comfortable and simple as possible, here are the steps to follow once you arrive at the designated meeting point.

Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to welcome you. They will explain the next steps and answer any questions you may have before the activity starts.

Once you have received the instructions, we’ll ask you to drive your own car. You will travel along a well-maintained forest track for 5 kilometers until you reach the protected area of the Cañón y Hoces del Guadiela, where the kayaks are located and your adventure begins.

The kayaking activity will take place entirely on the beautiful Bolarque reservoir. It’s an ideal environment for the activity due to its tranquility and scenic beauty. When the activity is over, you will return the kayak to the same spot where you picked it up, which makes the process easy and allows you to return to your car without any hassle.
