In this adventure in the Riera de Osor canyon, near Sant Hilari Sacalm and bordered by the Vic plain and the Montseny massif, you will enter an environment surrounded by Mediterranean forest, with holm oaks, cork oaks, chestnut trees and beech trees. If the guide deems it appropriate, due to weather conditions or the state of the canyon, the planned route may be replaced with another of similar characteristics.

The riera d’Osor, a tributary of the river Ter, is the largest of the watercourses that originate in the Guilleries mountain range. When you reach the picturesque village of Osor, located in the province of Girona, you will be struck by its natural beauty, with the river running alongside the village and the surrounding mountains.

Once at the car park, you will get ready for the adventure, as the approach to the canyon is direct and exciting. The Riera de Osor canyon offers several jumps, some of which can be repeated, as well as gorges, rappels and slides in an idyllic setting that will leave you wanting to explore more canyons.

With an easy level, it is perfect for beginners in canyoning and for practising the abseiling technique. The return from the canyon is along a path at the edge of the river, surrounded by forest, where you will find a fountain to cool off on hot days.

This canyon is suitable for the whole family and its mild climate will allow you to enjoy the adventure until the end of October.
