A first introduction to canyoning. No previous experience required. The qualified guide adapts the pace and the type of jumps to each member of the group. This is the recommended canyon for families with children from age 6 or people who have never done a canyon descent.

- Fitness: swimming ability required; mobility to walk between pools

Is this canyon safe for children from age 6?
Yes. The Berrós Canyon is one of the friendliest beginner descents in the Pallars Sobirà: pools with little current, natural slides and always-optional jumps. The qualified guide is inside the canyon with the group and adapts every step to the children’s level. It is the first canyon recommended for families.
Are the jumps compulsory?
No. All jumps are optional. There is a downclimb or natural slide alternative at each one. Every participant decides whether to jump or not, and the guide always offers the safest option. The slides are part of the main route and are done by all participants.
What exactly does the home-cooked set menu include?
The menu includes a starter with 2 or 3 choices, a main course with the same variety, dessert, bread and water. It is home-cooked Pallars food prepared daily. Wine and other drinks are not included but can be ordered separately. We cater for vegetarians, allergies and intolerances if notified in advance.
How long is the group inside the canyon?
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes of actual descent in the water. The full day including gear, transfer, descent, return to base, shower and lunch is around 5 hours. It is a complete day designed so you don’t have to organise anything else.
