Itinerary

Although this gully can stay dry most of the time, after rainfall you are likely to encounter water at some of the landings, adding an extra touch of challenge and excitement to your run. Be prepared to negotiate these areas with the existing facility or by using your wits.

Beginning the Adventure: The Path and the First Facilities

As you make your way along the trail, you will notice a dilapidated facility right on the riverbed. This will be the start of your exciting descent:

In this first section you can climb, although there is an installation in the middle of the path that is quite deteriorated. You will progress along the riverbed, walking over boulders and through vegetation without difficulty.

Next, you will find some boulders on the descent. Just before this abseil, there is a parabolt with a maillon on the right next to a large boulder. Although it is possible to climb up to the installation, this is probably the most beautiful abseil in the whole canyon. It is very steep, with a first small pool that adds a special touch. In the reception area, and separate from the pool, there is an installation with 3 parabolts, one of them without a plate, where you can install a guided abseil to avoid the pool if it is dirty.

Continuing the Descent: Challenges and Natural Beauty

As you progress, you will encounter a series of descents that will challenge you and allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of the canyon:

This section is particularly interesting. Although a juniper tree was mentioned in the sketch as an anchorage, in July it was found to be broken. A short distance away, there is a parabolt with a ring on the right and an espit that can be used as a diverter. This abseil has two parts: the first is about 3m to a pool full of stones, and turning to the right, a second, slightly larger pool.
