Itinerary

Canoeing down the lower stretch of the Deva River, you will cover 12km of the 64km that the river has in total, whose source is in Fuente Dé, which is part of the Picos de Europa National Park, passing through the Hermida gorge and flowing into the Tina Menor estuary shared by Cantabria and Asturias.

The activity starts in the town of Panes (Asturias), during the whole descent you will pass near several towns in both Cantabria and Asturias, one of the villages you will pass through is El Mazo with the pass of “El Collú”, famous for the fishermen’s house.

In the middle of the route you will find an elevated metal footbridge with a pebble beach where you can rest and have a picnic that we will give you at the beginning of the activity.
Throughout the descent you can enjoy the forests that accompany the river along its course and you can stop at the various stone and sandy beaches.

Included in the price

Transport from the centre to the start of the activity and from the end of the activity to the centre.
Equipment: paddle, helmet, lifejacket, neoprene, neoprene sock.
Civil Liability and Accident Insurance.
Outdoor support vehicle.
Picnic at the end of the activity.

This activity is done without a guide.

Reservation and cancellation policy

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
To be able to pay for an activity you must cancel at least 7 days before the activity is due to take place. From the seventh day to 3 days before the activity, 10% of the booking will be charged as a penalty; and from the third day to 1 day before the activity, 50% of the booking will be charged; and 24 hours before or less than the time of the activity, 100% will be charged.
No refunds will be made in case of no-show.
The responsibility for the service and its invoicing lies solely with the “Service Provider” according to the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of purchase.
