Canoraft on the Upper Ebro — Whitewater for two from Arroyo

Where rafting makes you a passenger and a rigid canoe demands constant balance, the canoraft gives you both: inflatable stability and real manoeuvrability. A two-person craft to descend the Upper Ebro at grade II–III, at the group's own pace.
Reservoir-regulated flow, warm water in summer and a licensed instructor in the water throughout the descent. The descent for couples and groups who do not want to be passengers.
- Level 3 — Adventure · from age 14 with a companion
- Two-person inflatable craft · grade II–III
- Year-round summer flow · return transport

What the experience feels like
Families: canoraft from age fourteen, ideal for families with teenagers who have already paddled together and are ready for the next step. Parents and children in the same inflatable, reading the Upper Ebro rapids side by side.
Couples: the craft that generates the most connection in whitewater. Two people, two paddles, one two-person inflatable and the Upper Ebro rapids opening up together. A couples’ experience that few Cantabria getaways can match.
Groups of friends: stag parties and celebrations where nobody ends up as a passenger. Each pair manoeuvres their own canoraft, the Upper Ebro rapids set the scene and the Arroyo base closes the day with the whole group together.

Who can perform this activity
FAQs
Is the canoraft stable?
Yes. As an inflatable craft it is far more stable than a rigid canoe and performs especially well in grade II–III whitewater. The stability means that two coordinated paddlers can hold their line without much prior technique.
Is prior experience needed?
No. It is Level 3, suitable for beginners with good general fitness and confidence in the water. Basic technique is covered in the pre-activity briefing and practised in the opening minutes of the descent. The licensed instructor is always in the water.
What is the difference between canoraft, rafting and hydrospeed on the Upper Ebro?
Upper Ebro Rafting (Level 2, from age 6) is the family option with a group raft. Canoraft (Level 3, from age 14) is a two-person inflatable for paddling as a pair. Hydrospeed (Level 3, from age 14) is individual, on a hydrospeed board. Same river and same base, different levels of personal involvement.
From what age can you take part?
The minimum age is 14 with an adult companion and 18 without. Swimming ability is essential.
How do we get back to the start?
The price includes a return transfer from the end of the stretch back to the Arroyo base. After the descent, the group can change at the base before continuing the day.
