We are happy to announce that the RocRoi family is growing: we are welcoming ECEM, a benchmark in adventure sports in the Pyrenees with more than 40 years of history.
At RocRoi, we are driven by a passion for nature, sports, and adventure. Today we want to share some exciting news with you: we have incorporated ECEM (Catalan Mountain Sports School) into our project. A giant step forward in our mission to connect people with the mountains!
ECEM and RocRoi: a natural union between two outdoor worlds
In addition to its solid experience, ECEM brings a way of understanding the mountains that is very close to the RocRoi philosophy: respect for the environment, constant learning, and a deep passion for sharing knowledge with others. Its focus on technical training and human support in every adventure has been key to consolidating its position as a benchmark school in the outdoor world. Working side by side with a team with so many years in the field motivates us and inspires us to continue growing with our feet firmly on the ground.
With this addition, RocRoi becomes the largest active tourism operator in Southern Europe, and that wouldn’t be possible without a team filled with a love of nature, a desire to innovate, and respect for the environment.
More valleys, more mountains, more experiences
Adding ECEM means opening the doors of a new valley to adventure. Pont de Suert, in Ribagorça, becomes one of our key centers for outdoor training. It joins our other hubs:
- Grandvalira (Andorra)
- Llavorsí (Noguera Pallaresa)
- La Guingueta d’Àneu (Llac de la Torrassa)
- Murillo de Gállego (Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees)
We will now be able to offer new routes, technical courses, snow and mountain activities, and experiences in the Aigüestortes National Park and the Boí Taüll ski resort. Get ready to experience the Pyrenees like never before!
