There is no doubt that the ones who enjoy Christmas the most are the little ones at home. It’s up to us to offer them the best family activities so that they have a dream holiday. Skating on ice rinks, strolling around the street markets, visiting the Christmas lights… There are endless events and activities throughout the festive season, but we can’t miss the Three Wise Men’s parade.
This year, the Three Wise Men from the East with their magic will visit all the children who are in the principality during the afternoon of the 5th of January, to share the illusion of Christmas.
This year, with Epiphany falling on a Saturday, there is no better plan than to escape to Andorra for the weekend, to spend these magical days wrapped in snow and adventure. So, if you happen to be in any of the following parishes during these days, take note!
Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany
In Andorra la Vella, the Menairons will be collecting children’s letters at the Magic Post Office until the afternoon of 4th January.
On the 4th, from 18:30h onwards, the Royal Page will announce the arrival of the Three Wise Men.
On the evening of the 5th, the children will be able to greet the Three Wise Men from their homes, and they will visit various places in the parish.
Canillo
In Canillo, you will find the Paje Real from the 2nd to the 4th of January, who will collect all the letters, located next to the Andorra Ice Palace.
On the 5th, at 6 p.m., there will be a parade in Carlemany square, which will reach the Telecabina square.
Encamp and Pas de la Casa
In Encamp, Their Majesties will depart in classic cars with the Les Nimfes show and will arrive at the festival hall at 6.30 pm.
And in Pas de la Casa, at 6 pm there will be a torchlight procession down the slopes and a fireworks display. At around 19h, the Three Wise Men’s float will arrive at the festival hall with the Colors show.
Ordino
In Ordino on the 5th at 19h the Three Wise Men will arrive at the ACCO and will preside over the performance of Els Pastorets (The Shepherds) and those attending will be able to enjoy a cake and chocolate.
