RocRoi manages to maintain 60% of its capacity of the summer activity centers during the month of August.
Thanks to the strict application of its own preventive measures that were approved by the General Secretariat of Sport, all river, lake and sea activities have been carried out under satisfactory security measures.
Internal tourism has been the main promoter to maintain a good influx of adventure activities in the Pyrenees.
The Pyrenees has been one of the most popular tourist destinations for this summer 2020; a fact that has been positive in maintaining the season for the area.
On the other hand, the summer centers in Vilanova and la Geltrú have managed to maintain the optimal influx of attendees, but without exceeding the figures for August 2019.
The adventure activities with the most demand this summer have been rafting on the Noguera Pallaresa river, kayak rental and paddle surfing on Torrassa lake, canyoning, hydrospeed, rentals in Vilanova and la Geltrú and trekking and 4×4 excursions in Andorra.
As novelties for this summer, RocRoi premiered a FoodTruck on the Torrassa lake that has turned out to be a success with the influx of public during the months of July and August; and the new exclusive rafting experience with the possibility of renting a private rafting boat to do the activity. The new prevention measures against Covid-19 have promoted the launch of this experience, which not only groups people by coexistence groups, but also offers the possibility of enjoying a unique experience in a totally exclusive way with a rafting guide just for the group.
RocRoi hopes to be able to maintain the results obtained for the winter season in the center of Andorra, a center where the preparation of preventive health measures against Covid-19 is already being carried out. The start of the winter season in Andorra will be on December 4.
