The RocRoi center in Vilanova y la Geltrú is the only activity center open all year round. Nautical activities such as kayaking, open kayaking, paddle surfing, sea rafting, sailing, catamaran, big SUP, yoga on the beach or in a SUP, etc. are carried out in this center. And one of the best times of the year to enjoy all these activities is in autumn: high temperatures, little influx of people, calm sea and little wind.
For this reason we have planned some activities to do this fall with everyone who wants to do them. This plan includes individual and group activities, but adventure, adrenaline and fun are always included. Here is our proposal of nautical activities in autumn at RocRoi Vilanova:
– October weekend (10 – 12 Oct), 7 – 8 and 28 – 29 November:
o 3h open kayak guided excursion in Els Colls
The Els Colls area is a low-rise rocky area where the vegetation almost reaches the sea. In this area small caves are formed that will allow us to enter them to enjoy this beautiful natural space. In addition, during the journey we will find a great diversity of coves.
o 2h paddle surf excursion
Guided paddle surfing is an experience that we should all experience at least once in our lives. The experience of touring the Garraf coast in a SUP paddle is unique: balance in body and mind, safe rowing and wind in your face. Do you dare to try?
– Weekend of October 17 and 18:
o Catamaran course
Do you want to learn to sail on a catamaran to be able to take your partner, friends or family? This is an intensive one-day catamaran course for up to three people. The course takes two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. The price for one person is € 170.
– Halloween weekend (Oct 31 – Nov 1):
o Guided sailing excursion
Get on one of our sailboats with capacity for up to four people and enjoy sailing in a natural environment such as Vilanova y la Geltrú beach.
– Weekend of November 14 – 15:
o Kayak course
Learn to sail by sea kayak in open spaces exposed to setbacks such as the Mediterranean Sea. With this course you will be able to carry out activities of a higher level, such as excursions of several days in natural places that you could not even imagine. This kayak course is an intensive one-day course divided into two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon. The course can be done with a group of up to 10 people and the price per person is from € 125.
– Weekend of November 21 – 22:
o Guided catamaran excursion
This is one of the most popular guided excursions in our RocRoi Vilanova center. In it you will discover coves and beaches of the Garraf coast by catamaran with an expert guide who will be able to explain curiosities and the history of the area.
You no longer have excuses for not coming to enjoy the nautical activities this fall at RocRoi Vilanova. Remember that in autumn the sea is normally calm, the wind is light and the temperature is pleasant and ranges between 18 and 25 degrees.
