Fornocal canyon in Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park

The Barranco del Fornocal is one of the most exciting and fascinating descents in the Sierra de Guara. This descent is divided into three zones, each with its own character and charm, which will require 9 abseils and 6 hours.

First Zone: Narrow Gorges
The first part of the route takes you through narrow gorges that get deeper and deeper and more spectacular. Walking through these narrow gorges, with rock walls rising on either side, will immerse you in a unique sense of adventure and exploration. Second Zone: Canyon Landscape
Further on, the canyon opens up to an area of springs and waterfalls, where the landscape takes on a lush, jungle-like appearance. Third Zone: Narrow Passageways and Excavations
The last section of the descent takes you back to the narrow corridors and gullies, offering a final dose of thrills and adrenaline. Here, the gorges become more challenging, and every step is an opportunity to test your skill and bravery.
