We invite you to live a unique paddle surfing experience in a private lesson in the spectacular reservoirs of Extremadura. You will learn all the basic techniques of this fun water sport to be able to glide with ease on the board. Course for groups of friends between 4 and 8 people.

Itinerary

The paddle surf course lasts 3 hours and is developed as follows:

Our professional guides will give you a brief theoretical introduction about the board, the paddle and the basic technique just before you get into the water. You will learn on land concepts such as board position, paddle grip, paddling cadence, how to make turns and keep your balance.

Then you’ll head out on the water with our guides to put what you’ve learned into practice. First on the shore, where you’ll perfect your technique. When you feel ready, you’ll start paddling around the reservoir. Always under the supervision of the instructors who will give you advice and assistance.

You’ll paddle around the reservoir for 3-4 km, while enjoying the scenery and practising your newly acquired skills.

At the end of the trip, you’ll have a review of what you’ve learnt and advice on how to continue progressing on your own.

A fun experience for beginners to paddle surfing in a unique natural environment.

Difficulty of the activity

Intermediate level. Suitable for people aged 14 and over.

What to bring

Quick-drying swimming costume or synthetic lycra. Avoid heavy clothing that soaks through.
Water shoes that fit snugly to the foot, such as booties or water shoes.
Cap or visor to protect from the sun.
Sunglasses to protect your eyes.
Waterproof sun cream.
Towel or bathrobe to dry off at the end.
Spare clothes and footwear for after the activity.
Water bottle for hydration.
Energy snacks such as dried fruit or bars.

Who can perform this activity

It is essential to know how to swim.
Minimum age for the activity: 14 years old (always accompanied by an adult).
Minimum age unaccompanied: 18 years old
The activities are subject to the professional judgement of the technicians in charge.
