Self-guided activity 2h Boat Rental Vilanova i la Geltrú

The arrival time at the ROCROI activity center will be the one indicated in your booking confirmation. Once at the center you can use the parking area to leave your vehicle. The first thing you need to do is go to the reception of our center; once there we will confirm your reservation and the reception staff will give you the necessary instructions before starting the activity.

Once everything is organized we will call you to collect your wetsuit (if necessary) and you can get changed in the changing rooms of our facilities. Your car keys can be kept safely at reception.

The activity takes place at our base on Ribes Roges Beach, just 200 meters from the offices.

At the base an instructor will be waiting for you, who will provide the equipment and give you a brief technical explanation. You will then start the activity while enjoying a privileged view of Vilanova i la Geltrú, sailing with the possibilities that the wind and your experience allow in front of Ribes Roges beach. This is a beach where you can maneuver the boat while still touching the seabed with your feet up to about 40 meters from the shore, allowing you to safely control the wave-breaking area. The western breakwater will protect you from easterly winds until you pass the line marked by the green lighthouse of Vilanova i la Geltrú.

From the middle of the sea, the beaches of Vilanova allow us to admire the entire limestone massif of the Garraf, with almost 10,000 hectares in size, and its majestic lookout points watching over us from just a few kilometers away. The contrast between the deep blue sea and the green mountains helps release stress instantly. On the clearest days you can even glimpse in the distance the Ports of Tortosa-Beceite and the incredible Ebro Delta.

If you have never sailed with Roc Roi before, it is necessary to complete a 1-hour level test sailing with our instructor to certify your level according to the sea and weather conditions. If the test is not passed, a course will be recommended before renting the boat.

At the end of the activity you will be able to shower and change in our fully equipped changing rooms.
