We are already in November, and this is a good time to remember and review our Spring-Summer season. And an excellent way to do it is recovering some of the images from these recent months. Collaborations, events, friends, new activities, jumps… and above all, lots of laughs.
This is not a goodbye at all! The adventure never stops at RocRoi!!! But we want to thank you for the confidence you have shown us these months. THANK YOU.
It has been four months of snow season, of mushing, of snowshoeing, of motorbikes, of tubbing. We’ve made the most of the winter days, enjoying outdoor activities in the countryside to the fullest. This week we have put an end to the snow season, although as our Granvalira’s friends say, if we could, we would start again.
Formerly called “walkers” or “wood runners”, the sled drivers are nowadays called “mushers”. Why? Because previously, the word “walk” was used to give to the dogs the order to move forward. Later, “walk” was transformed in “mush” by English Canadians, and led to the terms “mushing” and “musher “.
In Rocroi Andorra, we have three permanent mushers: Julian, Albert and Brei. They work exclusively with dogs and are the ones who take care of them day by day.
